Which states does a demand request pass through?
A Demand Request is associated with a State (SPSCommonClassBase) within Matrix42. This attribute determines its current position within the overall process.
- New is the initial state of a Demand Request. The Demand Requestor is currently adding information and did not transfer it to the Group IT yet.
- Withdrawn is a terminal state of a Demand Request. The Demand Requestor decided to withdraw his request.
- Assessment Pending is the first state in which a work order for the Group IT exists. The Demand Management is assessing the provided information, asks questions and updates the included information.
After obtaining and saving all important information, the Demand Management completes the information acquisition. - Assessment Completed is the state resulting from completing the information acquisition. The Demand Management creates the Tasks for the Demand Processors.
- Evaluation Pending is the first state where the expert teams (e.g. Data Privacy) come in contact with the Demand Request. They have to close the previously created tasks by providing a rating of the Demand Request.
- Decision Pending is the result of all queried expert teams providing their rating. The Demand Management has to provide a decision of approving or declining the Demand Request.
- Rejected is a terminal state of a Demand Request. The Demand Management decided to reject the Demand Request.
- Approved requires the Demand Management to provide a decision of the Demand Request being fulfilled using a Change or a Project.
- Forwarded as Project is a terminal state of a Demand Request. The Demand Management decided to forward the information to the Project Management and a Project is going to realize the Demand Request.
- Forwarded as Change is a terminal state of a Demand Request. The Demand Management decided to forward the information to the Change Management and a Change is going to realize the Demand Request.
