How to Enable Automatic Conversion From Purchase Requisition to Purchase Order

Within this guide you are going to learn the necessary configuration to allow for an automatic conversion of purchase requisitions to purchase orders within S4Hana.

STEPS

  1. The system selects only requisitions for automatic order generation with the indicator automatic purchase order being set for
    1. the supplier of the product

  2. It can only generate orders from purchase requisitions to which a unique source of supply has already been assigned.
  3. Additionally to the storage locations, the product has to have a distribution line associated.distribution_line.PNG
  4. For the creation of an outbound delivery, as present with the office articles, the product has to have a loading group associated.loading_group.PNG
