How to Introduce a new Printer

Within this guide you are going to learn how to introduce a new printer.

Context

  • We asssume to be introducing the Kyocera Taskalfa MA 3500ci as a printer model.

STEPS

  1. We start by adding the Kyocera Taskalfa MA 3500ci and all related additional upgrades (e.g. 500er Kassette, Unterschrank) as S4Hana products.
  2. After configuring the product master data within SAP, we wait for the Matrix42 data collector to run. Afterwards, the products are present as service within Matrix42.
  3. Within Matrix42 set the approval workflow to Approval - No Operation and the provisioning workflow to Provisioning - No Operation for all newly created printer materials. Furthermore, ensure that the service type fits the material.
  4. Within Matrix42 we create an overarching 'Kyocera Taskalfa MA 3500ci' service bundle.
