Finish ZHAW purchases without storage location

Within this guide you are going to learn how to finish a purchase for a stored article without a storage location associated in the purchase order.

Context

  • In the beginning weeks of the S4Hana launch purchase requisitions without a storage location where created. Should a goods receipt fail for a purchase requisition, it is possible that no storage location was included during its creation.

FIX

  1. Determine the purchase requisition for the order number.image.png
  2. Determine the item without any goods receipt. Navigate to Process Flow to easily determine the order number.

  3. Open the purchase order within the Change Purchase Order Advanced Fiori App.image.png
  4. Within the app use the Other Purchase Button to open the desired order.
  5. Determine the inbound delivery number from the Confirmations tab of an item.image.png
  6. Use the Post Goods Receipt for Inbound Delivery Fiori App to finish the determined inbound delivery.
  7. Select the dummy (floating inventory) storage location and post the goods receipt.image.png
  8. Rerun the Order Acceptance workflow within Matrix42.
